How Fabulous Designs is a stationery company out of San Francisco, which is really hard on Kara because she can never remember which kind of paper she sells (stationary? stationery?). How Fab was started with the goal of “connecting people through laughter and shared sentiments.” After realizing that sounded a bit high flautin’, we changed it to “taste testing every candy bar ever made.” It’s going very well so far.

About Kara
Kara’s always been a writer and wrote the well-received “M and M Story” in 5th grade. That year she also started her first greeting card company, selling “Kara-Kara-Kards.” She was clever even then.

She’s worked in advertising as a copywriter, theater as an actress and once in a very dark room as a telemarketer. She likes her current jobs – writing, paper-ing and personal shopping – best.
